About

In 2019 Gordon Mitchell Contractors celebrated its 30th anniversary. Over the course of three profitable decades, the business has grown into a thriving firm that employs a substantial amount of highly skilled industry professionals, and has built an enduring legacy of fine buildings across Deeside and beyond.

Gordon has always been fascinated by the rich heritage of historical buildings that abound in the Royal burgh of Deeside. Combined with a keen interest in the modern advancements of today’s construction world, this has allowed the company to grow as well as diversify.

With the foundations built upon family and an ethos of hard work and integrity, Gordon Mitchell Contractors has become a leading contractor in the North East of Scotland.

Our approach

We undertake a host of diverse projects, spanning a range of scopes and scales. Each and every one of these is treated with the same core values that characterise our company – honesty, integrity, professional advice and quality craftsmanship. In fact, honesty and trust are the very cornerstones of our business.

We always strive to build homes that match our clients’ expectations, but we don’t shy away from offering realistic advice when it’s needed.

We are just as honest about our costings – we guarantee that any quote we provide will be completely comprehensive. There are no hidden costs here, which means you have an accurate understanding of how your budget will work for you.

Our people

People are at the heart of Gordon Mitchell Contractors – both the people who have entrusted us with building their homes, and our highly dedicated and skilled team who are turning their vision into reality.

Each and every member of our staff shares our ethos and takes pride in their work. We invest a great deal in developing and nurturing our team’s knowledge and skills, helping them to retain and pass on traditional skills and methodologies. We know that, at the end of the day, our buildings are only as good as the team that builds them.

But we are equally passionate about marrying these approaches to the contemporary designs and techniques of the modern-day industry.
